Welcome Back!
What a wonderful first term we’ve had, it’s been fantastic having our Small Haven community back together and we are very proud of our students for being resilient and accepting of the changes this year.
We would also like to welcome our new students and staff who have recently started at Small Haven School. We love having you here and we hope you’ve enjoyed your first term!
One of the ways we have been staying connected is through making our new puzzle display. Each student and staff member created their own puzzle piece to celebrate their individuality and how special they are to the
Small Haven community.
Frightful Friday
On the last day of term, we celebrated Halloween in style. Students and staff came in dressed as the usual ghouls, witches and monsters and everyone looked fantastic! The afternoon was filled with fun spooky games and a pumpkin trail!

Charity
Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to hold any charity events this term, however, we didn’t want the wonderful charities we usually support to miss out.
The school, along with parent contributions, have donated £900 to cancer charities in replacement of our Macmillan Coffee Morning. The school have also donated a big package of food and supplies to Samaritans for Harvest Festival and continue to donate monthly to local food banks. We continue to sponsor our two children, 8 yr old Freddy via Bibic, and Zaynab via Action Aid, in recognition of Children in Need. Each class has also put together their Love in a Box– a shoebox filled with Christmas gifts for a child in need.
House Games
Students have been taking part in House Games within their bubbles, with points being added together for each team. You can find Term 1’s results below.
